Don’t wait until it’s too late to find out your insurance program is not what you thought it was.

We recognise that few people like purchasing insurance or have the technical expertise to understand what’s included within their insurance policy. For those buying insurance, it can be difficult to know if you have the correct insurance, with the correct level of cover in each section of your policies, from the right insurer at the best possible premium.

There are over 150 different insurers operating in Australia, some are specialists and others have a broad insurance product range; there are new entrants and insurers leaving the market all the time.

Which insurer is the right one for you and how do you know if you have the right type and level of cover, specific to your business?

Protect your investment.

At Benjamin & Benjamin Insurance Group, our focus is to understand the business needs of the insured, so the owners sleep better at night because they are not over or under-insured, but they have the right insurance for their business.

Our role is to make the process easy, provide comprehensive insurance advice, implement our client’s specific & agreed insurance program, manage insurance changes throughout the policy period, manage any claims and, above all, make navigating their insurance requirements easier for them.

To do this we need to get to know your business. This involves more than just filling in a form once a year. We want to speak with business owners to know where the business has come from and where it is going, to visit your place of business and to observe your business in operation. What we observe and get to know about you and your business assists us to negotiate a lower-risk profile with insurers where possible, the basis to reduce your premium.

We know Franchising.

Tenancy Bond – Insurance to save you money.

Recently Benjamin & Benjamin launched a new insurance product to replace existing traditional Bank Guarantees. For those Franchise systems with commercial leases, a Tenancy Bond provides all the security and protection a Landlord seeks without having to have cash tied up in a Bank Guarantee, cash that could be invested back into your business.

Insurance Program Health Check

As part of our service, we are happy to provide a no-obligation Insurance Audit to show prospective clients what we can do for them. While every audit is different in nature and scope, the process normally includes:

  • Conduct a “fact find” with the client to assist in understanding their business;
  • Review of existing insurance policies and their claims history (upon receipt of current insurance documentation by the client);
    • Make sure policies are not generic in nature but specific to the business, and
    • Compare pricing to the broader market to identify any cost savings available, leveraging any insurers that specialise in the industry/sector in question.
  • Prepare a report detailing:
    • Quote for like-by-like insurance protection;
    • Quote for additional insurances to address any gaps identified; and
    • Dependent of the size and complexity of the business, the optimal risk mitigation strategy specific to their business including risk avoidance, risk reduction, risk acceptance, and transfer of risk to insurance providers.
